Your golf swing doesn’t happen in isolation. If you want to get stronger, have more stability and move better, your training needs to reflect that.
In this video, Lee Barber walks through two golf-specific exercises that can help build a stronger foundation for your golf swing,
1) Pallof Press Lateral Walk
2) Half-Kneeling Overhead Press to Stand
These movements challenge core stability, control, and full-body coordination, all important pieces for better performance on the course.
If you want to train with purpose, book a session with Lee at VelocitySportsGolf.com.

You don’t have a speed problem. You have a sequence problem.
Every golfer has four engines: the pelvis, ribcage, arms, club.
In biomechanics, these are the four primary segments tracked by GEARS 3D. They act as a chain links transferring energy up the body.
Speed doesn’t come from any one of them. It comes from firing them in the correct order, from the ground up, each one faster than the last. Fire them out of order and you’re fighting yourself. You’ll feel like you’re swinging hard and the speed number won’t move.
Get your sequence measured on GEARS at Velocity Golf. The only GEARS facility in Charlotte. Book a session at VelocitySportsGolf.com.

Sometimes golfers have to compensate based on what the club is doing. Not ideal.
Using GEARS, we can measure exactly how the shaft is behaving during the swing, including droop, deflection and how those forces influence delivery at impact.
In this example, the golfer is having to make a bigger compensation just to manage what the shaft is doing. David explains how a change in the shaft profile could reduce that deflection, improve delivery and potentially even add distance.

Lee Barber breaks down the swing of the world’s best player from a body perspective.
Not the club. Not the positions. What Scottie Scheffler’s body is actually doing to allow the swing he has and why that matters more for your game than any drill you’ve saved.
